Pray for these two seeking Jesus
Bri and I have been walking with a brother and sister through a discovery Bible study the last 2 weeks. They are saying things like “we really want to believe. We would rather believe than not believe. We just aren’t there yet.”
Last week I asked them if they have ever asked Jesus to show Himself to them and they said no. But they said they would this week! Please please ask Jesus to open their eyes and reveal Himself to them this week! We desperately want to see them believe. We have answered all their questions. It all comes down to this prayer. The more we can have praying the better!
August 30
NEW BELIEVERS
We asked you to pray for a team in town doing evangelism training. The team went out and shared the gospel on the streets for 3 days after the training. They had conversations with over 70 people and 2 people gave their lives to Christ! You all have been praying and God has been moving! Please urge more people to pray!
Pray for a new curious person - M
M met our missions team on the basketball court. Josh and a teammate had a follow-up meeting with him today. His heart is longing for the Lord as he has gone through more than the average 19 year old so far. He’s wants to start reading the Bible with Josh and RC! He wasn’t ready to profess Christ but it’s clear that Jesus has been pursuing him!
First Training Event
This weekend we are having our first training event of this kind. We are training 12 Slovenes in evangelism as we look to raise up a generation of Slovenes who are well equipped and passionate about sharing the good news! Pray they would not only soak in the information, but would also use it in their lives with their friends, families, and all those around them!
NEW BELIEVER
Pray for A who just decided to follow Jesus today! She woke up today to her bed shaking like there was an earthquake but no one else in the house felt it. That started off her day of awesome events that God used to prepare her to hear the gospel! Tears filled her eyes as she heard about how kind God is and what He did for her in the cross. We are so excited for her!
University Outreach
On Tuesdays we sit on campus with a sign asking engaging questions. We’ve been able to share the gospel multiple times through this. Pray we will have wisdom in answering and that we would find people with softened hearts!
